Four Comets named to league best teams with captain Vahid Assadpour making the first team
The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced Tuesday their 2015/16 All-League First, Second, and Third teams ahead of the Conference Championship series. Comets captain Vahid Assadpour, goalkeeper Boris Pardo, defender John Sosa and forward Leo Gibson all received honors.
Vahid Assadpour was named to the All-League First Team for the second consecutive year. Assadpour helped lead the Comets to a 17-3 overall record in the regular season with a total of 50 points on 23 goals and 27 assists.
Forward Leo Gibson was named to the Second Team.
