Comets dominate in win over SeaWolves

The Kansas City Comets picked up a big win over the Orlando SeaWolves on Sunday.

The Comets avoided giving up an early goal to put them behind, and instead got a goal from Alain Matingou. After Orlando’s Elmo Neto tied it up, Kevin Ellis opened his MASL scoring account with a header to make it 2-1 Comets after the first period.

Both teams exchanged a goal in the second quarter from John Sosa for Kansas City and Jonathan Mendoza for Orlando, leaving the first half scoreline at 3-2 in favor of Kansas City.

The SeaWolves has no answer in the second half as the Comets scored three times in each quarter.
