Comets best Ambush in passionate home finale

The Kansas City Comets earned a win in the final home game of the regular season that was fiery.

The Ambush were without injury while the Comets held Alain Matingou out for the fifth straight game.

The Ambush opened the scoring through Lucas Almeida, who was later followed by Magui Souza to give St. Louis the 2-0 lead until Mirko Sandivari got one back for the Comets right before the end of the fist period.

Kiel Williams and Kevin Ellis scored for the Comets in the second quarter, but the Ambush found three of their own to give the Ambush a 5-3 lead at halftime.
