The International Champions Cup announced today that German champions FC Bayern Munich and Italian powerhouse A.C. Milan will play at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kan., on July 23 with kick off set for 8 p.m. CT.
This event was originally scheduled to take place at Arrowhead Stadium, however due to unprecedented wet weather impacting a construction project at the world-class venue, the matchup between two of the sport’s most historic and successful teams will now be held at Sporting Kansas City’s state-of-the-art, soccer-specific stadium.
Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members will receive information today about pre-sale opportunities this week and tickets will be available to the general public online at Ticketmaster.
