Big first half leads Comets past Ambush in home opener 6-4

The Kansas City Comets snatched their first win of the season over the St. Louis Ambush, improving to 1-1 in their 2019-20 campaign.

Kansas City was still without Nicolau Neto, Lucas Sousa, Ramone Palmer, and Robert Palmer due to issues with visa approval while Mark Saxby sat out due to suspension. St. Louis was had no injuries as Stefan St. Louis made another return to Kansas City for the Ambush.

Kansas City ended the opening half with a commanding 5-1 lead courtesy of goals from MASL debutant Matt Lewis, John Sosa, Ray Lee, Kiel Williams, and Ray Saari.
