As most MLS teams now have had their seasons come to an end multiple players are seeing their contract options exercised or passed on and players out of contract are moving on to new opportunities. Players like Aurelien Collin with the Philadelphia Union and CJ Sapong with the Chicago Fire are both moving into free agency in MLS having met the age and experience criteria. Others like Tyler Pasher with Indy Eleven and Mikey Lopez with Birmingham Legion are staying with their current clubs heading into the 2021 season. Combine this with the announcements from Sporting Kansas City II made earlier this week and there will be a number of former players finding new clubs over the next few months.
