With the roster’s announced for the Women’s World Cup this summer in France NWSL teams are starting to sign World Cup replacements to take the place of their players who have been called away to national team duty. One of the players signed is Kansas City native, Maegan Kelly. Kelly signed with Reign FC and will play with former head coach Vlatko Andonovski. Kelly had played under Andonovski in 2017 with FC Kansas City before moving with the club to Utah when the Royals started up. After departing the Royals in June, Kelly eventually signed with Atalanta Mozzanica in Italy where she scored eight goals in nine games for the club.
