It’s been almost a year since Luis Gil last played a professional soccer game, that came in October of 2018 when the Houston Dynamo lost to Los Angeles FC 4-2. Since then, returned from his loan to the Dynamo, out of his contract with Queretaro, and been looking for a new club. Gil now has that new club, joining Viktoria Zizkov in the Czech Republic second division for their season that started this past week.
Also this week, Austin FC confirmed the reports from a couple weeks ago that reported Josh Wolff would be their first head coach.
