Another former Sporting Kansas City player called an end to his playing career, Andrew Dykstra retired to take a job with Prince William Soccer in Virginia. Dykstra had been traded by Sporting to the Colorado Rapids before the 2018 season for a 2020 second round draft pick. Dykstra didn’t play a game for the Rapids, instead spending most of the season on loan with the Rapids USL affiliate, the Charlotte Independence.
