Across State Lines: Collin Retries From Professional Soccer

Former Sporting Kansas City defender and MLS Cup 2013 MVP, Aurelien Collin has called time on his professional playing career this past week. Collin spent 11 seasons in MLS with four teams, Sporting, Orlando City, New York Red Bulls, and Philadelphia Union. In four seasons with Kansas City, Collin made 133 appearances across all competitions for the club, he won two trophies, an US Open Cup in 2012 and MLS Cup in 2013. In MLS Cup he won the previously mentioned MVP for the game, scoring the game tying goal and converting what proved to be the winning penalty kick in the shootout.
