With Wednesday's light training session complete in Tucson, Arizona, Sporting Kansas City closed the books on the first phase of its 2017 preseason, presented by Children's Mercy.
Manager Peter Vermes gave playing time to 33 players over the course of two friendly matches against the San Jose Earthquakes and New England Revolution, both of which ended in narrow defeats.
