Southern Miss not only got a big conference win over UAB last weekend, but the Golden Eagles also did so in commanding fashion.
Following the 37-2 thrashing of the Blazers in Hattiesburg, the Golden Eagles (6-3, 4-1) now look for help. They are one game out of the lead in the Conference USA West division.
Louisiana Tech defeated the Golden Eagles earlier this season and has won every conference game this year. The Bulldogs (8-1, 5-0) might run the table considering Marshall, UTSA and UAB are the only games left on the schedule.
