After another poor offensive showing in a defeat to Troy, Southern Miss football coach Will Hall was only interested in blaming himself.
Hall, who calls the plays for the Golden Eagles (2-3, 0-1 Sun Belt), looked inward on Monday when asked about the factors contributing to Southern Miss' offensive struggles.
"Just me," he said. "Just poor coaching all the way around. I'm just not getting it done, and I've got to do better."
The Golden Eagles managed only 205 yards in a 27-10 defeat to the Trojans on Saturday. They turned the ball over four times, leading to 20 Troy points off turnovers that undermined an excellent performance by the Southern Miss defense.
