Frank Gore Jr. is looking to build on his successful freshman year as he enters his first season under new Southern Miss football coach Will Hall.
Gore Jr., the son of NFL veteran running back Frank Gore, burst onto the college football scene in 2020, accumulating 805 yards from scrimmage, which led Southern Miss and was fifth in Conference USA.
In a scrimmage last week, Gore Jr. led the way with 16 carries for 164 yards and a pair of touchdowns – one from 30 yards out and one from 18 – while also catching three passes for 36 yards, including a 21-yard touchdown.
