Southern Miss, along with every other FBS program in the country, will return to the recruiting trail Friday.
In December, the Golden Eagles signed 15 players, leaving them with approximately five initial scholarships left to give. The next date prospects are eligible to sign is Feb. 7.
“We saved a few (spots) for (February),” head coach Jay Hopson said. “Everybody we signed in December, we really wanted.
