Southern Miss football coach Will Hall possesses a unique ability to turn any situation into a digestible metaphor, so it's little surprise that he landed on the perfect analogy to describe the opportunity in front of his Golden Eagles when Liberty comes to Hattiesburg on Saturday.
It's a chance to hit the fast-forward button on Hall's rebuilding process at Southern Miss.
"Maybe skip a few steps," Hall said, elaborating. "If you're going up the steps one at a time, and all of a sudden you can jump up three, you can get to the top faster.
