At the tender age of 16, Julian Allen had a choice to make.
On one hand, the strapping star wide receiver, who was the toast of New Jersey's Washington Township Minutemen football team, could continue making bad decisions. Decisions that were detrimental to him both on and off the field. Decisions that left his future twisting in the wind and left his family frustrated and broken. Decisions that would likely only foster the downward spiral in which he was caught.
On the other hand, he could change. Julian could give up the lifestyle that was keeping him from becoming a productive citizen.
