Southern Miss has plenty to play for against Louisiana Tech on Friday (3 p.m., ESPNEWS).
First and foremost, a win translates to bowl eligibility for the Golden Eagles. There’s also pride and the rivalry factor, as the two teams will meet for the 48th time in the long-running series. But it also sends the team’s seniors out on a high note, as the contest against the Bulldogs constitutes that group of 21’s final game at M.M. Roberts Stadium.
