At 4-7 Mississippi State’s season is over after the Egg Bowl no matter what. Ole Miss can get to 6-6 with a win and did open as a 7.5-point favorite, but just about the only thing you can guarantee about the Rebels this season is that the expected is nothing more than a setup for the disappointment.
