It’s been three years since UAB played a game at M.M. Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg.
The last time it did, the Blazers pounded Southern Miss to achieve bowl eligibility for the first time in a decade. This time around, it’s the Golden Eagles on the verge of reaching the six-win mark. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, and the game will not be televised.
Southern Miss (5-2, 3-1 in Conference USA) has won three games in a row and is coming off a madcap, come-from-behind, double-overtime road victory at Louisiana Tech. UAB (4-3, 2-2) fell in overtime at Charlotte last week.
