Maybe Southern Miss’ single-game passing record holder was somewhere biting his nails, growing nervous with each Jack Abraham completion.
Abraham had that kind of game as the Southern Miss football team defeated the Troy Trojans 47-42.
The junior threw for 463 yards, which is second on USM’s all-time list, though still a ways from Nick Mullens’ 591-yard record from 2016, but maybe — just maybe — Mullens developed a sweat Saturday night.
“I have no idea,” Abraham said. “I’m not too worried about that.
