HATTIESBURG — Southern Miss men's basketball's 18-game conference schedule for its first season in the Sun Belt was revealed on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles will begin conference play with a home game on December 29 against Troy, before hosting Appalachian State on New Year's Eve two days later.
Southern Miss will play every program in the Sun Belt West Division home and away: Arkansas State, Louisiana-Monroe, Texas State, Louisiana, South Alabama and Troy.
Six of the seven programs in the East Division are on the Golden Eagles' schedule, too. The only Sun Belt foe Southern Miss won't play in the regular season is Coastal Carolina.
