Southern Miss football (1-2) looks to score a second consecutive victory on the road against Tulane (3-0) on Saturday (6 p.m., ESPN+).
The rivalry game represents a reunion for USM coach Will Hall, who served as the Green Wave's offensive coordinator for two seasons before arriving in Hattiesburg.
He beat the Golden Eagles twice as Tulane's OC. Saturday, he'll be out to do the inverse.
It won't be easy, though. Willie Fritz's Green Wave team is 3-0 for the first time since 1998, and is coming off a surprising victory on the road over Kansas State.
