Southern Miss, it would seem, has located its stride.
And it’s about time.
Eleven games into the season, the Golden Eagles engineered their most consistent and most complete performance. The result: a 66-21 victory over Charlotte to run the team’s record to 7-4 overall and 5-2 in Conference USA. It marks the most points scored by Southern Miss since a 70-14 win over UAB in 2008.
