The Southern Miss volleyball team (16-13, 7-6 C-USA) fought back from a 2-0 deficit against Louisiana Tech (6-22, 1-12 C-USA) on Thursday night, winning the last three sets of the contest to earn a 3-2 road victory over the Lady Techsters.
Southern Miss quickly took a 6-0 lead to start the first set. However, LA Tech chipped away at the lead after that Southern Miss run. Later on in the set, an attack error by senior Sarah Bell allowed LA Tech to tie the contest 13-13. Southern Miss kept the score close for the rest of the set, but LA Tech eventually came away with the 25-19 set win.
