At least that’s what Southern Miss is counting on in 2018. For the fourth time in four seasons, a brand new face will trot out to center field when the Golden Eagles hit the field at 4 p.m. Friday against Mississippi State.
Since Connor Barron relinquished the reins on the starting job, the likes of Jake Sandlin and Matt Wallner have patrolled the prime outfield real estate.
