HATTIESBURG — The Southern Miss baseball team will try to leave Conference USA on top this week.
The No. 14 Golden Eagles (41-14), who are moving to the Sun Belt after this season, are hosting the C-USA Tournament at Pete Taylor Park. Play is scheduled to begin Wednesday, with No. 1-seeded Southern Miss set to take on No. 8 UAB at 4 p.m. on ESPN+
The Blazers (31-23) took two out of three from the Golden Eagles in Birmingham (April 29-May 1).
