Shannon Dawson makes a living orchestrating high-octane offense at the collegiate level.
First at Millsaps, then at Stephen F. Austin before moving on to higher-profile gigs at West Virginia and Kentucky. After parting ways with the Wildcats, Dawson joined Jay Hopson’s staff at Southern Miss in 2016. The Clinton, Louisiana, native guided the Golden Eagles to 32.8 points per game in Year 1, and 424.6 yards per game last season.
