FINAL: Southern Miss is on to play Arkansas after dispatching with Dallas Baptist 9-0.
The Golden Eagles got seven innings of terrific shutout pitching from ace Nick Sandlin, and the team's No. 5-7 hitters (Hunter Slater, Daniel Keating and Cole Donaldson) combined for eight hits (two home runs, two doubles), six RBI and seven runs scored.
Arkansas and Southern Miss will play at 7 p.m. Saturday (ESPN3).
