HATTIESBURG — If Southern Miss is going to make a run in the Conference USA Tournament, it needs to improve its seeding. To do that, the Golden Eagles are going to have to win on the road.
That’s been tricky so far – Southern Miss is 7-2 at Reed Green Coliseum and 5-7 everywhere else – but coach Doc Sadler’s crew has two opportunities this week to improve on that with trips to Florida International and Florida Atlantic.
The Golden Eagles (12-9, 4-5 C-USA) have been here before.
