MUNZ: Southern Miss managing injury minefield well so far in 2017

Injuries are inevitable in football.

Knowing when they will occur or who will be affected by them is impossible an impossible task. Knowing how to manage them once they do happen, however, is the key.

Already, three games into the 2017 season, Southern Miss has been struck by some fairly significant setbacks health-wise. Yet, the team has done well so far to work around the injuries.

It started in the season opener when left tackle Drake Dorbeck went down in the second quarter with a cracked bone in his left forearm.
