Monken likes how D-line shaping up for '16

HATTIESBURG - Todd Monken won't go so far as to say his defensive line will be stacked in 2016.

But the Southern Miss football coach is very pleased with how things are shaping up depth-wise for the Golden Eagle defensive front.

"I think stacked is a little extreme," he said. "But with the guys we have committed, we will have a good number of options."

In addition to the Golden Eagles' current defensive line pledges (KaDerrion Mason and Jacques Turner), the team returns starting ends Dylan Bradley and Darian Yancey, reserve ends Xavier Thigpen, Ja'Boree Poole and Naim Mustafaa, and reserve tackles LaDarius Harris, Draper Riley and Rod Crayton.
