OXFORD — 2019 was a banner year for Mississippi schools in the NFL Draft, with Ole Miss and Mississippi State combining to have 11 players drafted into the league.
This marked the first time since 1995 that the two schools had combined to have at least 10 players drafted, and the most combined draft picks between the two schools since 1971 when Ole Miss had nine players drafted and Mississippi State had three.
