The Louisiana Tech football team opens the 2020 season with a Conference USA contest at Southern Mississippi on Saturday, Sept. 19.
The game is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. CT.
Southern Miss enters the contest 0-1 overall. USM lost 32-21 against South Alabama on Sept. 3.
Scotty Walden willmake his debut as Southern Miss head coach. He replaced Jay Hopson, who parted ways with USM after the South Alabama loss.
