The Southern Miss women’s cross country team competed in a 6K race at the Crimson Tide Classic on Friday, Oct. 13.
“I’m proud of the effort today,” said Head Coach Aaron Kindt. “Kate, Regen and Savannah ran really well. We had a couple people hit a wall so we looked to a couple younger girls to step up and Maddie and Emma Kate did just that.”
The Golden Eagles came into the meet ranked 11th in the South Region. Thirty-one teams competed in the meet with nationally ranked Ole Miss (12th), Georgia (25th) and Mississippi State (29th).
