Golden Eagles fall to North Florida in Cancun Challenge, 64-48

The Southern Miss men suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of North Florida in the Cancun Challenge in Mexico Saturday.

The Golden Eagles (3-1) shot just 10 percent from beyond the 3-point arc and lost 64-48 in their first game of the trip. They will play a consolation game Wednesday.

Tim Rowe led the Golden Eagles with 12 points and six rebounds. Cortez Edwards chipped in 11, but made just 5 of his 18 shots.
