With two days until National Signing Day, Laurel quarterback Keon Howard is back on the market. The Dandy Dozen selection opened up his recruitment on Sunday night by decommitting from Memphis in a message he posted on Twitter.
"He evaluated it," Laurel coach Todd Breland said. "With the coaching change, you develop relationships with coaches and all those coaches left (former Memphis coach Justin Fuente, assistant James Shibest). It's not a knock on the guys coming in but it wasn't the same relationship. Some other schools started recruiting him real hard and he decided to open it up.
