Southern Miss’ defense might soon bestow such a moniker on one of its own for the assistance he has provided this season. True freshman Briggs Bourgeois has cemented himself in the kickoff specialist role for the Golden Eagles. In just six games, he’s kicked off 33 times and already has 20 touchbacks to his credit.
