Yet, there he sat on Jan. 29, 2014, sweating through the recruiting process. It was a Wednesday, exactly one week before National Signing Day and the only scholarship offers that had been extended to him were from junior college and SWAC programs. Mind you, there were quite a few 2-year schools in the running for his services, including several considered among the best in the country.
