The Southern Miss men's basketball team returned to practice Wednesday.
It was the Golden Eagles' first official time together since March 7. The session was two hours of five-on-five drills and conditioning.
However, USM coach Jay Ladner knows his team has very little time to turn things around after finishing the 2019-20 season with a 9-22 record.
"We are trying to be better than we were last year," Ladner said. "I do like our team. Our goal is to win the league, and we will do whatever we can to do that. It's a crazy year, and crazy things can happen.
