Jones was named the MVC's Pitcher of the Week and Newcomer of the Week on Monday after throwing shutouts in both of her starts at the Stetson Invitational in DeLand, Fla.
It is her second time this season winning Pitcher of the Week and the first time winning Newcomer of the Week.
She struck out four while giving up two hits in a five-inning outing against Providence and struck out nine the next day against Colgate for her nation-leading fifth shutout.
Her record stands at 5-2 with a 1.26 ERA and 40 strikeouts in nine appearances this season.
