Sunday the Cardinals Caravan tour stopped at SIU Arena. During the 2015 season, 3.4 million fans attended games at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Dan McLaughlin said, a sports broadcaster who works with the Cardinals. According to McLaughlin, the purpose of the caravan is to say thank you to Cardinals' fans for their support.
The Cardinals Caravan stopped in Carbondale and it gives fans a chance to meet players, get autographs and ask their favorite athletes questions.
