Wife's agony as holidaymaker, 23, is feared dead after falling overboard from cruise ship while on dream holiday to celebrate his mother's birthday

The wife of a young Scottish man who is feared dead after falling from a cruise ship has spoken about her heartbreak following her husband's disappearance.

Liam Jones, 23, of Dundee, who had been on the MSC Euribia, fell into the water last Saturday near the Netherlands.

It is believed the liner had set off from Southampton the previous evening and was heading towards the German port of Hamburg.

Mr Jones is reported to have been travelling with family members.

His wife Sophie Mcphee, 20, told the Daily Record: 'I feel so lost.
