Southampton could return for Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly in January after missing out on him in the summer.
The Senegal international has been one of the best defenders in Italy over the past 18 months and he is being chased by several clubs.
Chelsea and Everton are interested in the centre-back, while more recently Barcelona have been linked with a move.
And now, according to Calciomercato, Southampton could also try and swoop for Koulibaly in January.
It is reported that the Saints failed with a summer approach for the 26-year-old after lining him up as a replacement for Virgil van Dijk.
