Southampton will be 'kicking themselves' for failing to beat Inter Milan in the Europa League, according to former Saints defender Francis Benali.
The Saints dominated large spells of their Group K match on Thursday evening but were made to rue a number of missed chances as Antonio Candreva fired the Italians to a 1-0 win at the San Siro.
Candreva's expert finish was Inter's only shot on target in the match and Benali, who made over 300 appearances for the Saints, believes his former club should have won the game once Marcelo Brozovic was sent off for the hosts late on.
