Southampton defender Cedric Soares signs a new four-year deal to keep him at St Mary's until 2020

Southampton right back Cedric Soares has signed a new four-year deal to keep him at the St Mary's club until 2020.

The Portuguese, who played his part in his country's Euro 2016 victory in France this summer, moved to the south coast from Sporting Lisbon in 2015 and made 27 appearances for the club during his first season with Saints.

He's now committed his future to Claude Puel's side, with the French boss delighted to have been able to secure Soares's services long-term.
