Southampton are weighing up a move for Hoffenheim star Jacob Bruun Larsen... as relegated club look for new wingers after the exits of Theo Walcott, Mohamed Elyounoussi and Mislav Orsic

Southampton are considering a move for Hoffenheim winger Jacob Bruun Larsen.

The Danish international, 24, has been identified as a potential summer addition and the south coast club have begun exploring a deal.

Theo Walcott, Mohamed Elyounoussi and Mislav Orsic have all left St Mary’s this summer following Southampton’s relegation creating space in their squad for reinforcements capable of playing out wide.

Bruun Larsen, a direct and speedy winger, started his senior career at Borussia Dortmund before a move to Hoffenheim in 2020.

He went on to enjoy a season on loan at Anderlecht under Vincent Kompany in 2021.
