Southampton are 'set to make club-wide cuts' after relegation from the Premier League... with 'hundreds of staff across multiple departments warned they could face redundancy'

Southampton are reportedly set to make a number of job cuts throughout the club following relegation from the Premier League.

The Saints' 11-year stay in the top-flight came to an end earlier this month after a 2-0 home loss to Fulham.

Relegation will see a massive change to Southampton's financial position, with huge income streams from the Premier League set to drop away.

According to The Athletic, an email was sent to 340 members of staff which said a 'restructure' would take place and warned them some roles across all departments face redundancy.
