Che Adams scored twice as Southampton beat Lincoln City 2-1 at St Mary's on Tuesday to book their place in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
Lincoln took a shock early lead inside two minutes thanks to an own goal by goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu, who put the ball in his own net after a defensive mix-up in the Saints penalty area.
Adams restored parity for the Premier League side midway through the first half and found the net again in the 74th minute after a dominant second-half display from the home side.
