Southampton 2-1 Coventry City: Saints progress after extra time

Kyle Walker-Peters scored an extra-time winner as Southampton came from behind to beat Championship side Coventry in the FA Cup fourth round.

Walker-Peters flashed a low shot into the back of the net in the 112th minute to give Saints victory.

Viktor Gyokeres had opened the scoring for the Sky Blues following a neat one-two with Ben Sheaf.

But Stuart Armstrong equalised with a tremendous curling strike before Walker-Peters' tidy finish.

Martyn Waghorn thought he had sent the tie to penalties in the dying stages of extra time, but the visitors' celebrations were cut short by an offside flag.
